How is it possible that this 1953 short film based on The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe was the first cartoon to be X-rated? Yes, this was in Britain, and perhaps they have different rating criteria than we do here in the U.S., but X-rated? X-Rated? I feel like this film noir short could even get a PG rating. Watch it for yourself and see what you think.
